If you are a young, international researcher-teacher, Catholic University of Paris offers you the chance to teach and pursue a research post-doctorate under the guidance of an experienced professor and researcher.
Theologicum's Post-doctorate Objectives
Theologicum seeks young researchers having acquired specific theological competencies and university experience. The successful candidate will contribute his or her knowledge to the advancement of Theologicum research projects and support their visibility in international networks.
Research procedures
- During the year, the dean will hold evaluation meetings with the post--doctoral student.
- A scientific tutor is designated by the dean from among the Theologicum professors.
- Works produced will be examined by the tutor and given a detailed written evaluation with a view to publication. They can be submitted in various languages if previously agreed upon with the tutor.
- The post-doctoral student actively participates in research meetings, and contributes to programming.
- They participate in meetings of young Theologicum teachers.
Research Evaluation
- Publication of at least 2 research articles a year
- Publication of at least one participation in a research symposium
- Upon completion, the post-doctorate student will submit a 10-page report to their tutor to present the progress of their research and determine, with them, the best channel for diffusion.
Post-doctorate Engagement
The engagement of a post-doctorate student will be for one univesity year from September to June.
A written agreement between the scientific tutor and the post-doctoral student will be created to define the specific research activities and teaching during the year.
