The International Relations Office

The Catholic University of Paris is an institution with a tradition of worldwide opening and a solid international network.

The International Relations Office perpetuates the university tradition of opening to the world. It increases its international development by:

  • setting up selected partnerships with foreign universities
  • organising incoming and outgoing student mobility
  • multiplying ties with academics from abroad
  • sensitising to internationalisation at home through intercultural activities
  • ensuring the university’s representation among quality European and International networks of Higher Education

International Students

The IRO is also the place where Foreign Students can find practical information and advise on life in Paris and a meeting point with other French or foreign students.

A three days Greetings and Orientation session is organised at the beginning of each semester for Exchange students. All foreign students are welcome to join the many activities which include visit of the city-campus’ libraries, museum and architectural treasures. Students are also guided around the Latin Quarter and the session usually ends with a boat trip on the river Seine.

The Student Mobility Coordinator, Ms Caroline Descamps, receives students every week day to answer their queries and to guide them through the enrolment process.

The IRO is located in the main courtyard (Cour d'honneur) just across the main entrance 21 rue d'Assas. It is open to students from Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 16:30.
