International enroling at the Catholic University of Paris

Enrolment Procedures Explained

Enrolment procedures differ depending on the type of programme the student wishes to join:

Exchange Students

Students participating in an exchange programme thanks to a bilateral agreement with their home university must go to the Exchange students for details on the application procedure, academic calendar and the welcome & orientation session at the start of each semester.

International Students

International students wishing to enrol in a Licence (Bachelor), Master or PhD programme, please see the International Students page. The application procedure differs depending on the programme, your nationality (European or non) and your competency in French.

Visiting Students (Part-time/Auditors)

It is also possible for students to enrol just for a few courses, for a semester or a year, as visiting students on a fee-paying basis. Students who want to validate credits need to enrol as Part-time student. Students who just want to attend classes without final validation and credits need to enrol as Auditors.

Students who wish to learn French

The university's French language school, the Institut de Langue et Culture Françaises (ILCF), offers monthly, semester, yearly, evening & elearning French Language Courses for non-native speakers at all levels including for French Teachers. Their website offers a presentation of all programmes in 17 different languages.

Priests and sisters are welcomed by a specific office that assists them to settle in Paris and helps them through all practical and academic procedures. Meetings and integration activities are also organised in parishes and religious communities.
