The team dedicated to International Affairs strengthens the university's ties worldwide by:

• setting up selected partnerships with foreign universities
• orchestrating incoming and outgoing student mobility
• strengthening ties with academics from abroad
• sensitising to internationalisation at home through seminars and activities
• ensuring the university’s representation among quality European and International networks

The International Relations Office

The International Relations Office (IRO) headed by Ms. Claire Bisiaux, continues their work developing partnerships and coordinating student exchanges the world over. Through its Tandem Programme, it acts as a connection point between French and International students.

The IRO is located in the main courtyard (Cour d'honneur) just across the main entrance 21 rue d'Assas. It is open to students from Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 16:30.

Greetings and Orientation Session

At the start of each semester, all international students are welcome to join the 3-day orientation session organised by the IRO. Activities include campus visits highlighting the university's libraries, museum, and architectural treasures. Students also enjoy guided tours of Paris' Latin Quarter and a cruise on the river Seine.

The Student Coordinator, Ms. Sabine Persico, receives students every week day to answer their queries and to guide them through the enrolment process.

International Development

Ms. Muriel Cordier, formerly the director of the Institut de Langue et Culture Françaises, now facilitates new international cooperations and the integration of international students into both existing and customised Catholic University of Paris programs as the head of International Development.
