
- be over 18 years old (17 year-old students admitted in July and August sessions)
- Hold a secondary education diploma or an equivalent of the French Baccalaureat
To confirm your registration and receive the documents necessary to apply for a student VISA, a payment of tuition fees must be done (deposit of €320 per semester or full payment for month-long sessions)
ILCF Paris sends the pre-enrolment letter (to show for visa application), a convocation letter for the placement test as soon as your payment is confirmed. The student receives an invitation to do an online test.

If you are a student from a country out of the European Economic Area, between 18 and 28 years old, registered for 30 weeks for at least 12 hours per week, you have to be affiliated with the French Social Security (medical and hospital insurance). Registration to Social Security is made at ILCF office at the begining of the semester.
Price for 2011-2012: € 202. Students over 28 years old will have to buy a private insurance.
Students from E.E.A. may produce a European social security card or a certificate of affiliation with a private insurance company.
If you have an au pair agreement, you are exempt from this affiliation if you have a contract for at least one year.
