How to register?

Register online. It's fast and easy!
Follow the indications below for a "step by step" registration.

To register to ILCF Paris French courses you must :

- be over 18 years old (17 year-old students admitted in July and August sessions)
- Hold a secondary education diploma or an equivalent of the French Baccalaureat
To confirm your registration and receive the documents necessary to apply for a student VISA, a payment of tuition fees must be done (deposit of €320 per semester or full payment for month-long sessions)

1. REGISTRATION ONLINE (highly recommended):

  • Click on the button "registration online", you are directed to a secure site
  • Choose the "catégorie" on the left side (Semester course, Month-long session etc...)
  • Choose the "session" (eg.:1st semester, June...)
  • Proceed to payment. Don't forget to add the optional services (aiport transfer, Express mail-DHL, Homestay)
  • During the last step, you give us the details of your personal file (name, address, email, nationality, passport number etc)

ILCF Paris sends the pre-enrolment letter (to show for visa application), a convocation letter for the placement test as soon as your payment is confirmed. The student receives an invitation to do an online test.

Download our registration form, fill it out and send it to our office, with the payment (check payable in France or bank transfer notification) :

2. The day of your convocation:

2.1 You must bring:

  • The convocation letter
  • Your ID card or passport, or passport with student visa covering the duration of your courses, or residence card (depending on situations)

2.2 You complete your registration:

  • You take an oral/or written test at ILCF;
  • You set up your time schedule with a teacher;
  • You complete your payment of the tuition fees;
  • Then you receive a student certificate, a class schedule, and a student card.

HEALTH INSURANCE - Sécurité Sociale (for students under 28 years old and from a non-E.E.A. country)

If you are a student from a country out of the European Economic Area, between 18 and 28 years old, registered for 30 weeks for at least 12 hours per week, you have to be affiliated with the French Social Security (medical and hospital insurance). Registration to Social Security is made at ILCF office at the begining of the semester.
Price for 2011-2012: € 202. Students over 28 years old will have to buy a private insurance.

Students from E.E.A. may produce a European social security card or a certificate of affiliation with a private insurance company.
If you have an au pair agreement, you are exempt from this affiliation if you have a contract for at least one year.
