Welcome on the site of the ICP

Discovering the French culture is part of learning french language too. This is why the ILCF offers a large choice of courses of culture and civilisation.
You can add one or several courses to you general French Language classes. This classes will be included in the number of hours you registered for.

Discover the French and European culture and its origins: history, art, philosophy, cinema, gastronomy. This courses are also an excellent way to strengthen your cutural knowledges in various domains.

From level A1.

• Each course is a 3hours/per week and take place during the semester (September to January / February to June)
• The courses can be added to General French language classes or specific classes (written, oral or phonetics)
• French Culture and Civilisation courses usualy take place on afternoons (to be confirmed by your final schedule)

Nocturnes du Louvres - Les Jeunes ont la Parole

Students attending Culture and Civilisation courses at the level B1+ and upwards are welcome to participate to the Nocturnes du Louvre "Les jeunes ont la Parole" (1^st semester only).

One afternoon per week will be dedicated to the preparation of the event taking place in December. Students are asked to organise their schedule functions of this preparation . (tutorial system).

Diplome d'Etudes de Civilisation - D.E.C.

For students from B1++) level, the ILCF offers the possibility to prepare a diploma: Diplôme d'études de civilisation
Preparation in an academic year. 15 to 18h /week ( written French, and Culture and Civilisation courses to be choosen)
Writting of a memo and orals.

An history or Art history teacher will follow the student in a tutorial system for the preparation of the sessions at the Louvre museum.
