Can you introduce yourself in a few words ?
My name is Klaus. Tough my name is German, I am a pure Peruvian national.
I studied Law in my country before coming to France. I've done this long travel because I'm very interseted by the humanitarian industry.
2 years ago in Paris, I passed the Master SAI (Solidarité et actions internationales) at the FASSE (Faculté de sciences sociales et économiques of the Catholic Institute of Paris), and after several internships, I went to Geneva. It's natural that I come back to the Catholic university of Paris to learn French at the ILCF.
In the end, I share my life between Peru, Paris and Geneva.
Why do you appreciate your programme of French at the ILCF ?
The monthly course I follow is general French. It allows me to improve globally. The content of the course is very strong, furthermore, my teacher, Valérie, cares a lot about each student. Personnally, I really need to improve my written level.
I appreciate the multicultural atmosphere in the classroom, students come from 7 different countries !
What are your projects ?
I finished my university studies and my Phd thesis. Thats' why now I keep concentrated on a job research in the humanitarian industry. Being confident in many foreign languages is critical in this specific industry.
I take the advantage of this summer to get a proficiency level in French as well as in English.
Do you have advives to give to foreign students planning to study in France ?
Yes. Taking time to look after maximum informations, being patient and always being motivated is the key !
Taking time to make long studies but also other activities like for example, travelling.
