The “Africa in Ecclesia” seminar brought together 220 participants and around 15 different speakers between the 3rd and 4th December 2009. It was organised by the ISTR (Institute of Religious Sciences and Theology) of the Theologicum, Institut Catholique de Paris, in partnership with the OPM (Œuvres Pontificales Missionnaires – work of pontifical missionaries).

At the ILCF Paris, a new academic year means openings of new courses. Among them, the one about culture and gastronomy is very exciting. Discovering France through the cooking history, from the Middle Ages until today, that's a perfect programme for culture connoisseurs !
For the 5th year, and within the framework of the "Grenelle de la Mer" (Grenelle Sea Conference), the Centre d'Etudes de la Mer (CETMER – Centre for maritime studies, Humanities Department) and the "Institut Français de la Mer" (IFM – French maritime Institute) are proposing 10 conferences "Les Mardis de la Mer et des Français" from November 2009 until May 2010.

Starting 2009, Monthly French courses are offered during the months of January, February, May, June, July, August and September, that is to say 7 months out of 12.
The Winter Courses at the ILCF Paris are open to adults from all levels of French, from beginner to advanced. The January course begins on the 4th and the February course begins on the 1st.
As an answer to an increasing demand from the students and university partners, the ILCF Paris offers since last September courses of civilization about France and Europe, in English.
